Second salary

I should have written this blog at the time of my first salary itself. But I was not blogging before one month. So couldn't have a blog as FIRST SALARY..

But anyways, this salary is not of less importance than the earlier one. I am gonna buy a new pair of shoes and possibly some T-shirts and jeans.

Then ofcourse like an obedient son of my mom, ( usually seen in crap Hindi movies) I will be putting rest of the salary in her hands!!!!
She might be knowing some better ways to spend the money.... You know womens are kind of experts in this area....

Got the mini project

My bench days are over today. After around a week or so,I got some work to do..
Let's see how far can we reach?

Kya deadline ke pahele hum complete kar payenge ye project?
Kya kuch naya sikhne ko milega?
Kya naye dost milenge cubicle me?

Janane ke liye dekhte rahiye....
HUM LOG!!!!

A tribute to Hrishida

He is amongst my hall of fame directors. I guess, no one can forget his masterpieces like Anand, Khubsoorat,Bawarchi,Chupke Chupke,Golmaal...

Middle class was his forte. His stories were happy-go-lucky and focused on the mischiefs happening in the common man's life. He had a great knak of showing complex human emotions in a simple yet appealing way.

That's what made him so popular. By any means, he was not a biggest showmaker or something like that.
We will always remember his creations.....

After all,

Long awaited queue at the university

Today I went to the University of Pune to fill up the form for the convocation. After waiting in a long queue for about 2 and half hour I managed completing formalities. Some smart people came there with Demand Drafts and got there job done in few minutes.
And I enjoyed standing in a queue,wet behind the ears....

Those two hours didn't get wasted completely,coz I saw a lot of pretty faces in the University Campus. And those faces made my day!!!

The government way of doing things

This is the common thing which we come across in all government run offices. I was sitting in a passport inquiry office. I have already submitted all concerned documents which are prerequisite for my passport.
The guy who was the authority started asking questions..

He: Show me your original documents..
Me : Here they are.
He : Where the hell is your original school leaving certificate?
Me: Sir, we are not allowed to take it with ourselves unless we submit a proof for joining some new institute. So I don't have the original one. But I have attested the true copy of it.
He: ( in a sarcastic tone) This won't help my dear!!!:(
This is a police enquiry... You gotta show some proof.
He went on asking questions n I answered them honestly.
And then totally ignoring me, ordered me to sit on other chair.
(well thanks for the honor!!!! )

There were other people standing for the same reason. He inquired them the same way.
After some time, he came out hurriedly from his room. After wasting 5 minutes per head,( total of 15 as we are three peoples out there) he came again playing with his cellphone...

This time he directly asked me for bribe. And being an honest Indian I gave him...

Well thats how our system works.....right?
I started understanding it!!!!

Now I understand, why those Bangladeshi Intruders gets all facilties and voting rights...I understand, why those politicians who protest Vande Mataram get elected....

Well I know, I indirectly supported him, but then tell me, what I should have done?
After all, I don't want to create hurdles in my passport processing!!!!

Yet another day on bench

I am fed up of this.
This was 4th or 5th day on bench... I am waiting for the interview and it gets postponed every time. I try to prepare and after sometime get bored of it....
please take my interview!!!!
for God's sake!!!:(

Torna Trip

Some days back we went to Torna Fort , Velhe, near Pune.
We started to treak at about 11 in the morning ( which was the biggest mistake) . We had cameras, sandwitches and other necessary things with us.

It took us longer than what we have expected to reach the "MACHI" , then we roam around, visited an ancient temple of Shiva. Some of my friends were frightened to death when they saw some "Ghalaya"!!!! ... the steep portion on forts...

We could marginally cover all the distance in planned time. The result was clear, we couldn't catch up the time, and were late to reach the village.
Torna do have accomodation facility in the form of a Dharmashala, but we didn't stop there.

By the time we reach the village Velhe, the last bus from there to Pune was gone. We ended up staying in a Primary School in a temperature of around 15 degree centigrades. And that too in a dorm classroom using blankets to cover us from cold....

After that incident, some of my friends swared to God that they will never trek with me :)

That indeed was a memorable trip!!!!

Guitar

I often come across this question. Why we get bored of something?
The answers could be

1. We are not doing the things which we love to do; we do the things what we are supposed or forced to do

2. We complain about things we have in our hand and run behind other things.

I compared them with myself and found that I need to do something which really makes me feel better.
How about playing guitar whenever I feel bored or lost ?
I think I must join a guitar class.

That will be one of those first things in my life , which I loved doing....

The Shehnai falls silent

At last at the age of 90 , the shehnai went silent.
Ustad Bismillah Khan,The shehnai maestro, who belives in remaining private and simple passed away.

I remeber playing his tunes on every auspicious occasions like Diwali,Gudhi Padwa. His beliefs of worshipping Saraswati than Laxmi are rare these days, especially in the lure of such temptations.

Ustad, you will always reside in my heart.
